Canada

I have been in Canada two times and both times during the summer vaccation in July and August. First time in 1996 and then in 1997, which is quite a long time ago and I was student back then. I spent both vaccations mostly in the childrens camp close to small town called Mc Kellar in the heart of very beautiful nature surrounded by great lakes and forests in about 300 km up north from Toronto. First I came to my uncle Jozef who lives in Toronto and has his own cruise boat on the Ontario lake where I use to help him for short time after I came from camp. Mainly I went to Canada to learn english but also to make some small money as a mentor in the camp which for great experience for me as for young man as well.
Canada is very beautiful country and it has great wild nature especially in northern parts of the country. It is so big whole country, forests and lakes as well that is quite difficult to catch butterflies there in this huge area. Meadows are big as well so you can imagine how many flowers is there and butterflies are spread all over the place so they occur more singly than in masses like in Europe on small localities. Night catching for moths is quite different though and there is many moths comming to the light in the night. Canada is just huge and great!
